Project Description It was one of the two most important centers of Buddhist learning in India during the Pala dynasty, along with Nalanda University. Vikramashila was established by King Dharmapala (783 to 820) in response to the supposed decline in quality of scholarship at Nalanda. Vikramshila is located at about 50 km east of Bhagalpur in Bihar. The details of works are –
• Construction of drinking water Kiosk
• Conservation of Monastic Cells on Western Side
