Jantar Mantar built in 1724 in Delhi, is one of the several astronomical observatories built by Maharaja Jai Singh of Jaipur, the other four observatories being located at Jaipur,Varansi,Ujjain and Mathura. Objective: 1. Conservation of the Misra Yantra. 2. Illumination of all the Yantras Provision of information facility at the observatory site. 3. Conservation ,preservation, maintenance, upgradation beautification of Jantar Mantar. 4. Facelift of Booking Counter & Entry Gate of Jantar Mantar ,New Delhi. |
